Protect Your Focus
Konzentration braucht mehr als einen guten Vorsatz.
Test simple changes to your working environment and build a focus routine you can use when a task needs sustained attention.
Who it is for.
Learners and people whose everyday work requires concentration.
What to bring.
Bring a laptop or paper and one reading, writing or planning task that can be divided into comparable parts.
What you take away.
- A personal map of common distractions and possible responses.
- Two work samples with brief observations about the conditions behind them.
- A focus routine and a simple seven-day observation sheet.

The challenge.
Knowing what matters does not mean you can stay with it. Notifications, open tabs and unfinished thoughts can interrupt work. Use a real task to explore which conditions help you continue and how you return after an interruption.
What you do.
Complete a short work session and privately record interruptions, task switches and what you produced. Separate external interruptions from those you initiate yourself.
Change one condition, such as notification settings or the way you record unrelated thoughts. Try a second comparable session and inspect both the work and your experience.
Design a repeatable routine for starting, protecting and ending a focus session. Rehearse how to resume after a necessary interruption.
Show what you have learned.
Demonstrate your routine and distinguish what you observed from what you still need to test over time.
