Find the Evidence in Your Documents
Aus Dokumenten werden nachvollziehbare Daten.
Turn a prepared collection of documents into structured information. Keep every important field connected to its source and check what AI may have missed.
Who it is for.
People working with research, project records or public information.
What to bring.
Bring a permission-cleared collection of readable documents. The facilitator agrees a workable volume and prepares a sample before the session; a shared practice collection is also possible.
What you take away.
- A structured dataset with source references and uncertainty markers.
- A checking log documenting sample comparisons and corrections.
- A short evidence brief separating findings, gaps and interpretations.

The challenge.
Reports and notes often contain useful evidence in inconsistent forms. How can AI help organise it while preserving the difference between what a document says, what is missing and what someone has inferred?
What you do.
Choose one question and define the fields needed to answer it. Inspect a small sample for quality, missing information and conflicting statements.
Extract structured data from the agreed document collection. Link fields to their sources and mark missing or uncertain values explicitly.
Compare a sample of the extraction with the originals. Investigate discrepancies and produce a brief answer that states its evidential limits.
Show what you have learned.
Trace a finding to its original passage, identify an extraction error and explain what the available documents cannot establish.
